Where is my data stored?
On your device, only. CritterCue is local-first, so there's no account and nothing is uploaded. See the Privacy Policy for details.
My reminders aren't showing up.
Make sure notifications are enabled for CritterCue in Settings → Notifications → CritterCue, and that Focus/Do Not Disturb isn't suppressing them. The app also shows an in-app banner if notification permission is off.
Are the care schedules veterinary advice?
No. CritterCue's default schedules are general guidance to get you started, not medical advice. Always confirm with a veterinarian or a trusted care sheet, especially for exotic species, where needs vary.
How do I back up or move my data?
Use the export/backup feature in the app's Settings to save a copy you control. Since data lives on your device, deleting the app removes it, so export first if you're switching phones.
